You will continue to eat many of the same fresh foods that you have been eating, while learning better ways to manage avoiding foods that are not good for you. We emphasize a well-balanced, low-carbohydrate and low-calorie diet. (add hyphens and comma) We will be focusing on nutrition from lean protein, vegetables, fiber (delete comma for consistency) and good hydration. We can modify meals if you are vegan or vegetarian. We will develop a range of options and ideas to help you reach your optimized health and well being. You will be eating real foods from your grocery store and you will be given sample recipes. We will work with you to find the right foods that fit your budget and tastes.
During your initial consultation, we will calculate your basal metabolic rate along with other parameters to understand how many calories that you will need to eat daily in order to achieve your goal weight.
Members can expect to lose 4-8 pounds per month. Depending on individual goal weights, the weight loss phase can last as little as 2-3 months followed by a 6-month (add hyphen) maintainence phase.
